Are there times you get disturbed or depressed? Are there times you feel like giving up on your own life or want to die because of all the tribulations? Are there times that you cannot depend on someone even to the members of your immediate family or your friends? Are there times you get physically, mentally, socially, financially or spiritually burned out?
If your answer to these questions are YES, then what do you do to find comfort and ease?
Perhaps, some seek for professional help like group counseling, individual counseling, or reading self-help books. For others, they watch funny videos, eat much sweets, go out with friends, migrate to another country, or go shopping.
However, with all the abovementioned remedies or cure, is it satisfying to yourself? Or is it enough?
If your answer is NO, then there might be another way to get healed from those situations. To some people, they do it through PRAYERS. Would you believe that? It is true. There are some testimonies on it.
As an author of this article, I would like to testify on the power of prayers. Many times in my life I have had experienced all negative situations in my life, and what do I do to overcome them - - - it is by praying fervently. I cannot fathom the miracles behind praying. Maybe because, I also have faith in it. They said for it to happen there must be faith - and that's what I do.
Several conflicting situations in my life has been answered and healed through prayers. Say for instance, the time when my father was into alcoholic drinks, cigars and gambling. As a daughter, I hated to see it because my mother suffered more from his vices. So what I did, I always visited a blessed sacrament to pray for my father's bad lifestyle. It took months for my prayer to be answered and I never told my mother about it. My father stopped all his vices. Another instance is, when I was about to take my licensure examination as a teacher. I did not go to a review center because I was working at that time. Then, when the examination was fast approaching I began to feel anxious about it. In effect, I made time to offer a prayer intention praying to pass for the exam. On the day of the test, I couldn't believe it in my eyes, why? It is because I all see the letters to encircle. I was shocked. But I know this was the power of prayer. A month after, I got the result and I passed.
The aforementioned statements might give you doubts but that is just to say when Prayer Works. This is just a way when none of the solutions acted upon answer the problems on the first paragraph cited.
In conclusion, it is up to you to judge it until you try it. As the writer of this article, I hope you get to have an option when everything else fail. Likewise, you are the bearer of your crosses.
