TOP NEW ONGOING SERIES YOU MUST WATCH
With the influx of different Series being released every day, I was challenged. I made a resolve to go on a downloading spree, I was mentally charged, it was a do or do affair. Personally I am more for series than your regular movies, the weekly dosage of your favorite series and the anticipation of the next episode is the perfect blend of frustration and excitement; frustrated about the cliffhanger, excited about the possible clarification in the next episode or the further intriguing complication of the already complicated previous episode.
I was really excited, I had watched so many adrenaline pumping, blood boiling, heart banging ,brain freezing trailers so I set aside the last Friday of the month, the perfect TGIF night for this very important task, to me it was worth more than a night out. The only issue I had with my operation binge download all night was downloading an utterly distasteful and brain wrenching series and trust me there are lots of crappy series out there. I once downloaded an episode of (can’t even remember the title) the heartbreak was worse than when joy broke my tender heart in primary 3 (I’m slowly moving on, thanks for asking). You would think I will learn to do a little research (IMDB, rotten tomatoes….)on any series before downloading, which was once my practice but I kinda stopped when the initial ratings for DAVES CHAPELLE’S STICK AND STONES was a 0%, an absolute sham. I was glad I ignored the biased ratings and watched anyway. Really worth it. So I’d rather download and rate myself than wait for fake ratings (in Donald trump’s voice) since the society is becoming unnecessarily overly sensitive.
my top ongoing must watch series is a blend of different genres and has been carefully selected, watched, rewatched and re-rewatched. It is not in any particular order as all of them is a must watch/follow. New-ongoing simply means they recently started the series and they are still in the first season.. So let’s get started.
PRODIGAL SON
Genre: Crime, Action, Psycho

I fell hopelessly in love after watching the first ten minutes of the premiere episode. The story surrounds a troubled young criminal psychologist, a serial killer father who still wants the father-son connection, a quite persuasive mother (I don’t know her angle yet.) and a journalist sister. The directness of the ingenious yet borderline line crazy Malcolm bright is captivating. He treads between making enviable brilliant calls and taking bone-chilling bat sh*t morally arguable decisions like cutting off a man’s arm. This dude didn’t even think twice about it.

THE CAPTURE

It is crystal obvious that the protagonist is closely and staunchly being followed by his village people. He was exonerated of a murder charge by an hair's breadth after a damning video evidence did in fact actually lagged by a second. Some hours later he got himself into another crazy shit or should I say “they got him into”. Who are they? You SHOULD WATCH

EVIL

A criminal psychologist is about to be thrust into a world of unexplained mysteries, demonic presence, miracles, possessions after accepting a job offer to investigate strange phenomena which she does not believe in from a young trainee catholic priest. Whilst she solely believes in the scientific process strange occurrences begin to happen around her. This is not your normal catholic exorcism, angels and demons stuff. This is a bigger deal. After just one episode I’m hooked. I think it is a good replacement for the exorcist.

FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL

This is the most complicated love story ever or that I have ever watched. I watched this series over and over and over again. Okay, imagine having a quick great rapport with a random person only to see the same person some weeks LATER and …… GO WATCH IT, I AINT SPILLING IT.

THE SPY
Genre: Action, Crime, Romance, War, Suspense

Status: Just ended
Set in the 60’s, it follows a true-life story of an undercover spy who infiltrated the Libyan military forces for the Israeli government. I love several things about this particular series but what stands out for me is that the plot is not rushed, it is not forced and definitely worth your time. A theatrical masterpiece.

GOOD OMENS

The most unlikely partnership is formed between a naïve angel and a brazen demon. If you’re worried about the show been blasphemous, it is not. The script writers were probably hi*h on some jolly go round pills when they wrote this piece because it is really really funny.
The crazy part was when they swapped bodies, you can’t just anticipate this comedic piece.
