The struggle is real

Hello guys. I am Julia. And this is my first article. I am a graduate and also experiencing the struggle and stress of staying at home unemployed. This is not anyone's dream. When you are in school all you can think about is when you get to graduate and really start your life. But the truth is all that is a dream you seem to not going to reach anytime soon. Most young people in South Africa, with i being one of them, have to live in the world of limited opportunities, whether you hold an degree, honours, masters or doctorate. The employment world is limited to those who have clear access to it. I got turned down wat too many times for the job that i qualified for simply because i did not have money to pay the recruiters. What is more heart breaking is that you lose a job to someone who doesn't even qualify for it. I remember one time i was too desperate i loaned money to pay recruiters, (even though they are scams) and guess what, i couldn't get the job even then, because they told me that someone had much more to pay than i did. That's how desperate i was. And i landed in the scam world not because i didn't know they were scams but because i was too desperate to be employed that i risked my life and money that i did not have to be employed and still didn't get it. So now i know the STRUGGLE IS REAL. Especially if you are from a rural area with limited resources and information and from a very poor background. And the no one even the government doesn't care about us.
