Beautiful azure skies welcome you each day. This magical city is lushously green and full of life for most of the year.Reasonable amounts of rain during the year as well as underground rivers that flow beneath the city contribute highly to this colorful environment.Bright purple flowers encompass the WHOLE city during late September till early November which gives it, its nickname- Jacaranda City.

Pretoria, South Africa is mostly a large suburban city where the kids can go play in their huge back yards on soft green grass. What makes it especially nostalgic to grow up here as a kid in this city is that you always smell the fragrant aromas of wood and meat being burned in the late afternoons as there is always someone in the neighbourhood who is busy with a BBQ or as we call it , BRAAI.

Despite being a 3rd world country and many claims that our streets are unsafe, many neighbourhoods are filled with kids still playing in the streets and staying outside till late. Our technology and education infrastructure is of World Class quality, with The University of Pretoria boasting at rank 232 globally on the Employer Reputation indicator, its just an added benefit to living in this beautiful city. With only an estimated 2,472,612 people living here, I would say that is quite extroadinary.

Withinin a 2km radius , the University is accompanied by well known High Schools such as Pretoria Boys High School, The Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool, The Afrikaanse Hoër Meisieskool, Pretoria High School For Girls.Im not going into extensive detail about these exraordinary institutions , but here is some cool information about them-
AB de Villiers- World Famous Cricket player (Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool)

George Coetzee- Famous Golf Player (Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool)

RG Snyman -World Cup Rugby Winner 2019 (Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool)

Elon Musk-Founder,CEO and chief engineer of Spacex (Pretoria Boys High School)

One thing that is also a certainty, is that the quality of food South Africa produces is unmatched. When you eat any meat/fruit/veg and go try it somewhere else in the world , you'll not find an equal. The taste is real and authentic and all other meats and produce will taste bland in comparison.Pretoria displays these delicasies ostentatiously in their fine dining restaurants.Even the 'Fast Foods' quality is quite tasty.

Pretoria is also close the one of the wealthiest business sectors in Africa, which is situated in Sandton, Johannesburg(approximately 40 minute drive away). There are many opportunities to be explored in this city.Labour is cheap, food is cheap, food quality is high and the competition is fierce.Pretoria is situated in the inner part of South Africa , and the closest beach is about 520-540Km away.Another great benefit is that there are little to none Natural Disasters that occur in Pretoria. No tornados/Tsunamis/Extreme Droughts etc.Its a very pleasant city and region to stay in
I would most definitely raise my children in this City. The experiences, the people and overall atmosphere of this city is truely magnificent and would recommend EVERYONE to atleast visit Pretoria,South Africa atleast once in your life.
