RPAs Robotic Process Automations are the software that are used to perform repetitive task that are carried out by humans. They interact with the application and perform the task as that of a human could do. They will work virtually as a business analyst and do the tedious task. They allow the software robots to perform the repetitive routine work. • RPAs are used to get accurate results as they never tired of doing repeated tasks and they never commit any mistakes. • They are used as improved compliance. RPA robots execute the task as instructed and thereby reducing the risk. We can have full control over the robots. • They are being deployed as some bots to run few processes and handling millions of requests per year. • They are typically low cost and they are easy to implement and they do not require any deep integration systems. Types of Automations 1. Assisted Automations: They are the RPA application running on the desktops of the users and help them to complete the process within lesser time. They are cost savings and give better customer experience.

2. Unassisted Automation: This unassisted automation requires no human intervention. This software is capable of handling the things by its own and human interference is required only when something goes wrong. 3. Hybrid RPAs This type of RPAs work as both unassisted bots and assisted automation whenever required. In this type, bots and employee can work on different task at the same time for getting efficiency.

Uses of RPAs 1. They are used in Customer Service: They are used to do paper works such as scanning the documents, uploading the documents, verifying the digital signatures etc. They do not require any manual intervention. 2.They are used in Finance and Acccounts Process:

They are used in tax accounting, general accounting, financial planning and reporting. It is predicted that by 2021, 80%of corporate controllers will use RPAs.

3. They are used in HR department: They are used as automated payroll, maintaining attendance, giving complainace, onboarding and new recruiting. 4. They are used in IT Management and Services: They are used in automated software audits, handling password reset and server restart, optimising in email notifications etc.
