Practicality or Interest Caption

On towards one of senior high school student issues on their flailing academic performance and what we often hear from these students about why they eventually didn’t make it to the top 10, why they don’t feel like coming in for the next class, why they don’t feel like participating, why they find any other task burdensome, why they don’t do well in their academics, or why they never really pay attention in class and so on and so forth, “It’s not something I decided on,” a student could say that for real.

Early adults can see this as a not very confusing stage in their decision-making-filled days. Oftentimes, students round this age – range commonly follow what their peers have in mind. They are most of the time dependent on the number of ‘YES’ and “NO’ their friends agree on which particular strand they wish to pursue, let alone career path which is way too vague for most of the trying population. This time of their lives, teenagers are still pretty much idealistic so to say. Needless to say, parents and teachers have a great deal of motivating the young minds to pick what for them is also on edge if not anything else that would basically satisfy a parent’s wants and not the student’s. It is in this argument that we need to filter out which weighs better, practicality or interest? Due to trying times, parents have always considered to choose an academic path for their young adults that would sufficiently satisfy their financial level of expectations and capacity. They would also practically deliberate that the academic options for their students would be more or less trying, in that sense that they are well aware of their student’s performance level. But do they really know this from academic reports and parent-teacher conferences given that they are not so into this? Parents would almost always identify the best options for academic movement for their students if the considered school would content their set of qualifications for whatever set of random expectations they have. Interest can be associated with what students have had in mind, their dire desire to pursue something out of admiration, passion, goal-direction and a foreseeable career path which parents may also share the same. It is just that for the better part, parents on many accounts have overridden their student’s interest with their own and eventually gets to either help decide or finally decide for themselves their children’s next senior high strand and later on course to take. Before they actually do, hopefully parents would take a closer look at how their child’s interest can be of greater value.

For either junior or senior high students, it is believably okay to be at a loss right now. There is no guarantee of a perfect future – that, we know is true. One can always find his way by searching through uncertainties that come along which of course includes many other significant factors that would even the odds for the most part. Interest keeps one on track so if that is what you really want, give it everything you’ve got so your parents would see how they could help you get there.
