Npower Commences Payment of April Stipend to Npower Beneficiaries.
The federal government empowerment initiative programme "Npower" under the social investment programme for job creation and empowerment initiative, propounded by Buhari's administration which was aimed to empower youths, employed and unemployed with the view of eradicating unemployment in the country is a voluntary one, where more than 500,000 unemployed graduates in the 36 states with 774 local government are set to receive their April stipend as Npower commences payment soon.
Npower reacted to her beneficiaries complaint yesterday over the delay in April stipend and apologized for the delay in stipend payment and also advise all the beneficiaries to be patient and wait for her payment shortly.
Dear beneficiaries, I implore you to be patient as Npower commences their payment shortly.
Meanwhile the Federal ministry of Humanitarian affairs, Disaster management and social development has said that the 500,000 N-power enrolless across the country should expect to receive bank credit alerts after all due process were conducted in line with the rules guiding federal government public financial expenditures .
She added : Those responsible for processing payment must do it in conformity with the necessary rules and regulations to ensure accountability and put an end to delays in payments.
