The youngest victim to die of coronavirus in the world has been named as a 21-year-old youth football coach, Mr Garcia living in Spain. Mr Garcia reported breathing problems and when he went to hospital it was discovered that he has an underlying aggressive form of cancer, which made him extremely vulnerable to coronavirus.
The president of the Atletico Portada Alta football club said he was told that Mr Garcia was stable, but an hour later his condition worsen and was informed that he had died.
Mr Garcia is the youngest victim in Spain - and possibly all of Europe - and his death comes as the country struggles to contain the flu-like illness. As of last month, the youngest person to die in China was a 36-year-old man.
