We are all living in fear of Conoravirus which is justifiable. But it is more like we are yet to see the worst days.
We have heard history of deadly diseases that once besiege our lovely earth. Diseases like INFLUENZA and SMALLPOX that killed millions in 1960's all over the world.
Never have we heard of a deadly disease coming at the same time with a deadly Asteroid that may hit the Earth on April.
Disease has killed more human beings than anything else, any war or natural disaster. But evolution prevents anything that comes out of nature from being both virulent and contagious enough to remotely threaten human extinction. So I’m not that much worried about a virus suddenly emerging and killing us all even among animal extinctions, you almost never see that happen.
But history has it that Asteroid has at one time caused nearly extinction of human race but successfully wiped bigger organisms like dragon, Godzilla, Dinasaur from existence. We don't know how true this story was because it happened millions of years ago.
Asteroid refers to the minor planets of the inner Solar System, including those co-orbital with Jupiter which orbits around the sun.
There exist millions of asteroids, many are the shattered remnants of planetesimals, bodies within the young Sun's solar nebula that never grew large enough to become planets. There sizes varies too. The sizes of asteroids varies greatly; the largest, Ceres, is almost 1,000 km (600 mi) across and massive enough to qualify as a dwarf planet (wikipedia, 2019).
Why are we talking about this Asteroid now?
NASA predicted that Asteroid will hit the Earth on April. The chunk of rock is currently on an Earth-intersecting orbit and is fast approaching the planet at more than 10,000 mph. CNEOS researchers estimate that it is about 98 feet in diameter. The last recorded airburst took place over the city of Chelyabinsk, Russia, which produced a flash 30 times brighter than the Sun and caused 180 cases of eye pain and 70 cases of temporary flash blindness. But that was considered the tinniest of asteroids.
Impact events of asteroids have physical consequences and have been found to regularly occur in planetary systems, though the most frequent involve asteroids, comets or meteoroids and have minimal effect. When this latest large stone falls on earth on April, there will be both physical and biospheric consequences.
What do we pray for now?
There is Conoravirus which have dealt with and still dealing with the world and now asteroids coming to us on April. This calls for deep reflective thinking. Can earth survive these? Even if we were able to survive it, maybe, when it has reduced world power to nothing. Will that stand a chance to called mark of the end time?
We all need to pray heard and acknowledge the fact that big event is about to take place on Earth.
